Filipino Champorado


  • 2 c. Water
  • ½ c. Glutinous Rice
  • 28 g. Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ c. Gordon Choice Sugar
  • ¼ c. Gordon Choice Whipping Cream
  • ¼ c. Chocolate Shavings
  • ½ c. Chocolate Sauce

Recipe Preparation

  1. Add water to a deep pot and bring to a boil.  
  2. Add rice and stir to distribute. Lower heat.  
  3. Cook until the rice is translucent and the liquid is reduced to desired consistency.
  4. Remove from the heat.
  5. Add the sugar and chocolate until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the chocolate sauce on the bottom of a plate.
  7. Top the chocolate sauce with rice.
  8. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
