Bacon Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 6 oz (180 ml) Canola Oil
  • 11 ⁄3 c (200 g) Popcorn
  • 1 lb (480 g) Applewood Smoked Bacon, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb (480 g) Butter
  • to taste Salt

Preparation

1] Heat canola oil in a large pot, add popcorn and pop. Place in a large bowl. 2] Fry bacon until crispy, reserving rendered fat. 3] Purée cooked bacon and bacon fat with melted butter. 4] Toss popcorn with bacon butter and season with salt.
